Hi,
>"Can not connect to database server [ localhost ] : Access denied for user 'myusername'@'localhost' (using password : YES)"
The error message indicates the username or password ( or maybe both ) you supplied is wrong. By the way, you are using 'myusername' as your username. Are you sure it's a valid username in your database? 'myusername' is an example used in the installation guide, so I suspect you haven't set up your own username ( and possibly password, too ) in the configuration file.

Awesome job you are doing.
I have been struggling with installing the "Address Book Script". I am using Wamp server on my laptop to simulate the web environment.
The trouble is actually with Step Four - "Click Setup to start Address Book installation."
When I click 'Setup', it gives me the following error:
"Can not connect to database server [ localhost ] : Access denied for user 'myusername'@'localhost' (using password : YES)"
I think I am messing up the database configurations in Step Two.
Actually using this for my school project. I will appreciate all the help I can get to get this to work.
Looking forward to a swift response from you.
Thanks and GOD bless.
