It's most likely that the address of the mail server that you set in the configuration file is wrong. The script was just waiting for a response from the wrong mail server address and eventually gave up. Also there is a possibility that the address was correct but mail server was not set up properly.

I am having trouble presently where following submit there is a long lag, page 3 does not appear and the form returns a time out error. The information Posts however the timeout and error seem like a failed post to the Customer.
