Hi tom.. regarding the previous issue. i do not want to use the email function as i replace the email input in the form to user phone number. thus remove the necessity of the email server itself. so how do i remove the error? thanks.

Removing the email field has nothing to do with the error you encountered. You got an error because your mail server is not responding. Check the email configuration file again. Also try some other mail server.
